I have a pretty big crush on Aubrey Plaza. I’m not quite sure what it is. Something about her dry sense of humor and that solid deadpan and those expressive brown eyes is really appealing to me (kind of like a marginally less silent Buster Keaton now that I think about it). Plus her new shorter haircut is really cute on her.
Anywho this gifset is from the season premiere in which her character April decides to play the boss while her actual boss is in hiding (long story). I’m not sure what it says about me that I’ve never been more attracted to her than in the moment where she snaps at Jerry, the office punching bag. Nothing good, I fear.
THIS WAS THE BEST HALF HOUR OF TELEVISION, LIKE, EVER
I’m not sure I agree with sir or madam butthorn’s assessment (I still commend that HIMYM’s “Slap Bet” is the pinnacle of half hour comedy achievement), but Parks and Rec’s “The Trial of Leslie Knope” was still quite brilliant and exceedingly cute.
I also liked that their “I love you”s were revealed in a way that was befitting of them as a couple.
Parks And Recreation shot two season finales, one where she wins, and one where she loses. Which one do you want to see?
Whoa.
Also, I want to see both. But, I want the one where she wins to be the real finale (because I’m not a monster).

Cee Lo visits the Pawnee Parks Department. “The Voice” coach guest stars in the “Parks and Recreation” season finale. Looks like he brought his “The Voice” chair for Ron Swanson.
The idea that these people could exist in the same world simultaneously makes me giddy.
Dropping the mic is always a good move.

Parks & Rec filming at The Smithsonian
I don’t know why the combination of Parks & Rec and the Smithsonian thrills us so. It’s like you got your awesome comedy in our happy sixth grade field trip! No, you got your happy sixth grade field trip in our awesome comedy!
Something tells me that Leslie and Ben are going to get into all sorts of geeky mischief in DC and the mere idea of that fills me with sunshiny warmth.

And now here’s Ron Swanson with tips on how to survive the bacon shortage.
