    This is really a rather apt parallel to how the Doctor sweeps people off their feet and invites them into a magical world of adventures and danger. Plus the whole never growing up thing works quite well considering a) his ability to regenerate and b) Matt Smith’s madcap take on the Doctor. Moffat and Smith’s Doctor has been filled with a very fantasy and fairytale feel and despite being very aware of his old age and weariness, the eleventh Doctor still approaches the universe with a childlike energy and curiosity.  Sorry, I’m over-thinking this drawing. Boy, it sure is neato, isn’t it?
